About this place
Enjoy your fully equipped modern apartment inside our grand Victorian villa! Our charming house is on a very calm and quiet street, yet only 4 minutes walk from Shanklin train station and 8 minutes from the beach. The main shops are minutes away. Victoria apartment has a large King bedroom, a second twin plus sofabed in the sitting room. Large dining area and fully equipped kitchen including dishwasher. Private patio with furniture for alfresco dining. Lawn is the owner's and out of bounds Our guests love the convenience, the accessibility to Shanklin and the rest of the island, yet the quiet and calm within Clarence House. We love hosting and feel that we have created something original, pretty and different from the average cookie cutter apartment. It is cosy, bright, clean and pretty. Use your private patio tables and chairs for morning coffee or afternoon tea. The lawn beyond is our garden but enjoy the view! We grow wild garlic, rosemary, bay, lavender and apples in season. We want to help as much as we can, however it is a self catering apartment and we respect your privacy. We have full time jobs also so please be patient when you require something. Best way is to text and we will get back to you as soon as possible It is near everything yet so quiet and calm. Isle of Wight locals are so kind and friendly. Love being near the water, the shops and Shanklin Chine You can drive easily all over the island - but you don't have to. The bus service will take you almost everywhere if you'd like to give driving a break. Lots of visitors come to the island because they love cycling and walking, so many stunning coastal paths! Shanklin is easy enough to walk around, and is the best way to explore
