About this place
Only 4 minutes from Shanklin train station and 8 minutes walk from the beach, Clarence House is a grand Victorian villa and an oasis of calm. The Albert deluxe studio is a large and really beautiful newly refurbed room with kitchenette, dining area, velvet chesterfield sofa, large bathroom with full bath and his and hers sinks. Very tastefully done with 2 double beds. Fridge, kettle, microwave, dishwasher, Nespresso machine and fresh milk as well as breakfast treats provided. Free parking outside on the street. Shanklin is easy to walk around with the beach so near as well as many breakfast cafes nearby and special restaurants in the Old Village. With buses at the end of the road for Ventnor, Newport, Godshill etc and the train station 4 minutes away with easy access to Ryde we are perfectly situated to get around the island even without a car. We are 4 minutes walk from the Cliff Path for those coming to cycle or enjoy walking the Wight! Checkin is between 4pm and 8pm. Please keep in touch regarding your arrival plans so that we are available to greet you. Fantastic beach, with cafes for breakfast and lunch minutes away. The Old Village is a pretty walk with thatched cottages, beautiful tea rooms, antique shops and olde worlde charm. Shanklin Chine is a must-see and is a wonderful trip to another world Parking is free on the street outside - we are one of the nearest streets to the beach which still has free parking. 8 minutes walk to the beach, 9 minutes to the town. 4 minutes walk from the train station. Great bus service to many other towns and attractions from the end of the street
